Cancellation of residence
Required Documents
A copy of the worker’s passport and the stamp of his last entry into the Kingdom.
A copy of the worker’s valid residence permit.
A copy of the worker’s work permit.
A copy of the valid professions license if the application is submitted by a company or institution.
A copy of the worker’s proof of departure from the Residence and Borders Department for departures.
A copy of the sponsor’s ID if the applicant or sponsor is a person.
The mechanism of progress in submitting the application
The employer or sponsor inside Jordan can apply for cancellation of residency for foreign workers residing in the Kingdom who are under his sponsorship electronically, so that the application is submitted, documents are uploaded, and the approval notice is printed if the application is accepted electronically, through the Ministry of Interior e-services website (https://eservices.moi.gov.jo), or smart applications for phones, available on electronic stores (Jordanian Ministry of Interior – MOI).Notice of approval or disapproval is obtained electronically.
The service completion period is within 5 working days, and for regular requests within 14 working days.
The validity period for using the residence approval is 6 months from the date of approval of the application.
Fees
Two (2) dinars shall be paid for each respondent in the regular application.
(100) dinars shall be collected on urgent requests, provided that the number of respondents in one application does not exceed (5) persons, and (15) dinars shall be added for each additional worker in the application above (5) persons.
